Prepress Automation Powered by Esko Automation Engine
FlexoForce has completed the initial phase of implementation of the Esko Automation Engine prepress management system. This system is modular and helps eliminate errors from the process by allowing users to set parameters for repetitive tasks and automatically make decisions during the workflow.
Automation Engine can receive data from external systems using SQL queries, as XML or XMP data, and in other ways. The values already provided in this data are fed into the job details and workflow parameters. In particular, this applies to layout data, barcodes, predefined colors, etc.
Automation Engine introduces new capabilities for editing and monitoring workflow. These features provide visual feedback through the user interface.
