3D microscope AniCAM for monitoring the state of flexo forms and anilox rolls
Process laboratory research
In flexographic production, the state of the raster dots of the flexo forms and the cells of the anilox rolls has the greatest influence on the final result (since they determine how much ink and how exactly is transferred to the printed material in a particular area of the image). It is difficult to control these elements with instruments that produce only 2D plane measurements, since they do not allow calculating the height of raster points or the depth of cells. There are not so many measuring instruments that allow obtaining three-dimensional results, and one of them is the AniCAM 3D microscope, developed by the British company Troika Systems.
